A long time ago, God created a beautiful and magical place called the Garden of Eden. There lived the very first people: Adam and Eve. The garden was filled with lush green trees, colorful flowers, and sparkling streams. Everywhere they looked, there were delicious fruits hanging from the branches, and everything was peaceful and perfect.

God needed helpers to maintain this wonderful garden, so He chose Adam and Eve and told them they could eat from any tree except the middle one. He named this tree the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. If they ate from this tree, God said they would learn things they weren’t ready for and change everything.

One day, a sneaky serpent came to Eve and said, “Why don’t you try the fruit from the tree God told you not to eat? It will make you wise and open your eyes!” The serpent was very clever, and Eve felt curious. She thought about the fruit and even saw that it looked delicious.

Eve took a bite, and then she shared the fruit with Adam. At that moment, their eyes opened, and they suddenly realised they had disobeyed God. They felt scared and ashamed, hiding from God when He came to walk with them in the garden. God found them and asked, “Why are you hiding?” They explained that they had eaten from the tree He warned them about. Because they disobeyed, God had to send them out of the beautiful garden, but He still loved them very much.

Even though they left the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve learned important lessons about choices, responsibility, and loving God. They knew they had made a mistake, but they also realised that they could continue to learn and grow. And so, they went on to start a new life, had children, and always remembered that it’s important to listen to God and make wise choices.
