Long ago, in a land called Egypt, there lived a man named Moses. Moses was chosen by God to help a tribe called the Israelites, who were being treated very badly by the Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. The Pharaoh made the Israelites work hard, and they were not free to live their lives as they were enslaved.

One day, God spoke to Moses from a burning bush and told him that he needed to go to the Pharaoh and ask him to let the Israelites go free. Moses was scared and didn’t think he could do it, but God promised to help him. So, with God’s support, Moses went to the Pharaoh and said, “Let my people go!”

But the Pharaoh was very cruel and refused. So, God sent ten plagues to show the Pharaoh how powerful He was. There were frogs, locusts, and even darkness! After each plague, the Pharaoh would say he would let the Israelites go, but then he changed his mind. Finally, after the last plague, the Pharaoh was so upset that he told Moses and the Israelites they could leave. They were overjoyed and quickly packed their things to start their journey to freedom!

When they reached the Red Sea, they were afraid they couldn’t cross. However, God had a plan and told Moses to raise his staff. When he did, the waters of the Red Sea parted, creating a dry path for the Israelites to walk through. They hurried across, and when the Pharaoh and his army tried to follow, God closed the waters back, protecting His people.

Moses led the Israelites to a new land where they could be free. They celebrated their freedom and thanked God for guiding them.
