Ashbourne Parish opens the doors of its churches each day to welcome people to pray. A vibrant parish is a praying parish and our doors open at 9am and stay open each evening until 8pm.

Some people make a private visit, others light a candle at a shrine, other parishioners come to Mass or enter the church to pray the Rosary with others.

Every Thursday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament takes place on the main altar of Ashbourne Church concluding with Prayers before the Eucharist at 7.45pm. Rosary is prayed before the church shrine to our Lady after the 10am daily Mass.

A petition box was installed in Ashbourne Church in 2024, and Mass is offered each week for all the written intentions left in the petition box.
