Once there was a kind and loving man named Jesus. He travelled around telling people about love, kindness, and God. He did many wonderful things, like healing the sick and helping those in need. People loved listening to Him and followed Him wherever He went.

One day, religious leaders in the city became very upset with Jesus because they didn’t like what He was teaching. They felt threatened by His popularity and how He inspired people to be better and love one another. They decided to get Him arrested, and even though He had done nothing wrong, they put Him on trial.

Despite the unfair treatment and the sadness around Him, Jesus remained calm and continued to show love. Unfortunately, the courts made a decision that led to Jesus being crucified, which means He was put on a cross and left to die. It was a very sad time, and His friends, the disciples, were heartbroken.

But the story didn’t end there! Three days after Jesus died, something amazing happened. Some women who loved Jesus went to visit His tomb, where He had been buried. Upon their arrival, they discovered that someone had rolled away the entrance stone, leaving the tomb empty!

“Do not be afraid! Jesus is not here; He has risen!” The news spread fast that Jesus was alive again! He appeared to His friends and showed them that He was truly alive. They were overwhelmed with joy and couldn’t believe what they saw! Jesus explained that He was alive and would always be with them. This was a very special promise!

Jesus’ resurrection teaches us about love and hope. It shows us that good things can happen even in the darkest times, and love is stronger than anything else. His death and resurrection are important to the Christian faith, and it is through His sacrifice that we can be saved.
