The 7 Sacraments are special gifts from God that help us get closer to Him and live like Jesus did.

Baptism
This is when you’re welcomed into God’s family. In baptism, water is poured over your head, and you are made clean from sin. It’s the first step in becoming part of God’s Church.

Holy Communion
This is when you receive Jesus in the form of bread and wine. It’s like getting a special meal with Jesus where He is with you, and you feel His love in your heart. We usually do this at church, and it’s a way of being close to Jesus. Holy Communion is also called the Eucharist .

Confirmation
When you’re a little older, you get confirmed. This means you say “yes” to God and promise to live as a Christian. The Holy Spirit helps you to be strong in your faith and live like Jesus, and it’s like getting a special boost of God’s power!

Confession
Sometimes, we make mistakes and sin. During confession, you tell a priest your sins, and the priest helps you say sorry to God. Then, God forgives you, and you feel better and start again with a clean heart.

Anointing of the Sick
When someone is very sick or getting older, a priest can pray for them and anoint them with holy oil. This helps them feel God’s love and gives them strength, comfort, and healing.

Marriage
When a man and woman love each other and want to stay together forever, they get married in the Church. This is a special sacrament where they promise to love each other just like God loves us. It helps them grow in love and support each other.

Holy Orders
This is when a man becomes a priest, deacon, or bishop. He gets special powers to help people get closer to God, like saying Mass or forgiving sins. These men dedicate their lives to serving God and the Church.
